About Cincy Plumbing Pros
Cincy Plumbing Pros is an advertising and referral service for plumbing work in Cincinnati and the surrounding parts of Hamilton County. We are not a plumbing company, and we put that first because you should know who you are dealing with before water is on the floor.

How it works
You call the number on the site or send the form. That reaches us, and we pass it to one independent local plumbing company that covers your ZIP code. They call you, decide whether the job can be talked through or needs a visit, quote it, and do the work. Your agreement is with them. The introduction costs you nothing.
Why a plumbing site would be written this way
Search for a plumber in Cincinnati and the first page is a forum thread, a few national directories and a handful of company sites that say little about the city they work in. Meanwhile the questions people actually have are local: whether MSD will pay for a backup, who owns the pipe under the sidewalk, whether the city or the county issues the permit, whether Water Works will replace a lead line. This site tries to answer those properly and then put you in touch with someone who can do the work.
Where the facts come from
The guides draw on MSD of Greater Cincinnati's own program pages, the City of Cincinnati's Buildings & Inspections department, Hamilton County Public Health's plumbing division, Greater Cincinnati Water Works, the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board and National Weather Service climate normals. Where rules vary by address or change from year to year, the pages say so and tell you who to check with. Prices are ranges local companies generally quote, never a price we set.
What this site does not have
No reviews, no star ratings, no photo gallery of finished jobs, no licence number. We have not done any plumbing and did not collect any reviews, so publishing them would be inventing a track record. The photographs on the site are licensed stock images that illustrate the problem being described; none of them shows work done through this site.
Licensing
We hold no plumbing licence, because we do no plumbing. In Ohio, plumbing contractors are licensed by the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board, and outside the City of Cincinnati a contractor must also be registered and bonded with Hamilton County Public Health to pull permits. The company that takes your job should hold those, and you can check an OCILB licence at elicense4.com.ohio.gov before work starts.
Questions people ask about the arrangement
How is the site paid for if the call is free?
The plumbing company that receives the enquiries pays for them. You pay that company for the work at whatever you agree, and nothing you pay is marked up by us.
Does my enquiry go to several plumbers?
No. It goes to one company. You will not get a string of calls from businesses competing for the job.
What if the work goes wrong?
Your contract and any warranty are with the plumbing company, so raise it with them first. Tell us as well. The arrangement only works if the company we pass people to does good work, so we want to know.
Can you help with an MSD claim?
No. The report and the claim are between you and MSD. The guide to MSD's Sewer Backup program explains the 48-hour rule, what is covered and what to document.
Who runs the site?
Pinecrest Advisory Services, LLC, which operates it as an advertising and referral service. The disclosure page has the details.
